Teplo’s menu reads like a photo album and features Russian dishes with a European twist. Pancakes with cream cheese, read caviar and smoked salmon and roasted chicken or Boeuf Stroganoff are just examples. The filets with mountain cranberries and different mustard, red wine and cognac sauces are delicious. Teplo means “to be somewhere warm” – something Maria Revzina, who became famous for her cafe bar Zoom seven years ago, has been achieving for three years now. The rooms are angled and furnished in an individual style with black and white pictures, floral tablecloths and book shelves. One could spend hours here during the day drinking juices, eating soups and sandwiches.
